You would need to prove that you need a pump.
You would basically have to prove that your levels arent well controlled from doing everything correctly and have tried.
If you are just forgetting to take insulin injections.. Would you really have the comitment required to look after yorself on a pump?
There's alot of people desperate to get a pump, have done everything they possibly need to do to control their levels on injections and still on waiting lists or refused a pump. Some hospitals also want you to have done a dafne course. You must be completely conversant with carb counting in normal everyday life and to be doing it.
Please don't think a pump is an easy way to control your diabetes.. It isn't.
