I'm not familiar with the specific pump you mention, but some link with the CGM-meter to shut-off insulin when BG falls too far. In persuading your doctor to fund the CGM, I'd emphasise your concern about nighttime hypos - that should worry him/her too! I've been a Type-1 for 45 years, with a pump for just two and I've ALWAYS had a problem with nighttime hypos - with awful regularity at about 02:30! Just a few days ago, my Consultant authorised CGM to protect me from this all-too-frequent occurrence, though it'll be a while before I get the new kit.
You don't mention your day time sensitivity.....? I can still feel a hypo coming on perfectly well by day - but I've never been woken up by the symptoms and my recovery-time is getting longer after every incident now!
