Hello, I've had T1 for almost 20 years, and like most people will never understand everything about diabetes. On occasion I wake up with a morning hypo and take a swig of lucozade and then eat a bowl of porridge or brown bread, my normal breakfast. I wait 20 mins and take my Novorapid, the same amount I would normally. My sugar level 2 hours later is sky high. Does my body reject the insulin as I've been hypoing?
Any help appreciated, I'm new to the forum.

@Mflannagan I would guess that it's most likely your blood sugar is shooting up because your insulin isn't getting into your body to deal with the food in time.

Is there a reason you're waiting 20 mins and injecting after eating? If your team have told you to do that, then carry on but do tell them about your high.

How low ways your hypoband how high was your high?
