insulin resistance - ratios

I do 1 unit for every 10g ATM but they are talking about changing that cos it doesn't seem to be working and I do 46 units basal 22 units am 24 units pm

1:10g is a common starting point, but it's not unusual to have to tweak that. Hopefully any changes will help your control :)
 
my insulin to carb ratio is higher than 1:10, it's more like 6:10. Sometimes I do a bit less, other times a bit more. But I think I'd be running high sugar if I stuck to 1:10 ratio as well. Although your basal units you're on is much higher than what I'm on so it could be that your insulin to carb ratio isn't as much as mine. I'm on 13 units of lantus for basal at the moment.
