Type 2 Insulin resistance test

I’ve recently had several blood tests and just wondered if anyone understands the insulin resistance test.

FBG - 6.08
Insulin mlU/L - 3.46
Fasting Insulin Resistance index - 0.84

Is this good or bad? Last Hba1c was 36

Anything under 1 for the IR test is "normal" so looks like you're doing great.

Depends how high I think.. my last one was 1.06 and the report came back as

And my results came in like this

So it looks like anything over 1 implies some degree of Insulin Resistance the higher the worse?

Thanks for sharing. I’m confused. So that’s saying I’m not insulin resistant? I thought all T2s are. Is that a bit like my Hba1c showing in not diabetic but I know I am and it is only low because I avoid carbs?
