I was diagnosed type 1 about 7 years ago and put straight on insulin, I haven’t taken it seriously until about 6 weeks ago and for my Novorapid a carb ratio of 1:10 worked pretty well. Now I seem to be eating more carbs than ever but seem to be needing less and less insulin. Today I have already eaten 273g of carbs to only 12 units of Novorapid . Since breakfast the highest bg reading being 7. Any suggestions welcome Thanks

How old are you? For how long has this been going on? Did you change any exercising routine lately? Did you change the place of your shots? After you answer all these maybe we could guess what it may be.

Any individual's insulin sensitivity can change over time. You say that you didn't take D seriously until about 6 weeks ago. That suggests to me that you have been acting differently over the last 6 weeks. Can you think back and tell us in what way you have changed things ? The answer to this question is probably the reason behind your needing very much less insulin.
