Hello
I know that T1 will more than likely thing that I am talking rubbish but here it goes.
I was today looking at insulin therapy for T2D as I a currently on fast acting insulin.
I came across a few articles that reported a link between T2Ds and higher risk of CVD especially heart attacks. I’m currently at risk of heart attacks due to PCOS but I’m wondering if anyone else, knows about it.
I am in all honesty, loving the insulin. No toilet episodes and my BG is normal during the day (Although I can get high readings if dinner was carb heavy)
Is the HA/CVD issue something that people have heard of? Should I be worried? As I said, this link seems to be with T2D and not T1.
Thanks
NC
