Hi I've had a cabg x4 heart bypass grafts)
Before surgery my diabetes was stable using both a slow release and a fast acting insulin.
Since the operation the insulin is reacting more strongly to the same foods & I can't seem get a balance without dropping - and whichever medics I ask they have no knowledge of this. I'm feeling vulnerable & isolated.
Also I used to feel the need at eat at sugar level 5 but now it's when I'm about 10
Has anyone else experienced these?
