Insulin

Hi. If I change to eating fibrous foods, should I inject less insulin. I inject twice daily premixed humalog 75/25.

It really depends on the carb content. Fibrous foods are always better and result in smoother blood sugar changes but the carb content is the real measure.

With any change in diet I rely on BSLs to guide me as to whether I need more or less insulin.
