How is the structure of insulin important to its function? I'm doing an AS biology essay about "Compare and Contrast the Structure and Function of Insulin and Collagen as Examples of Globular and Fibrous Proteins Respectively". In researching insulin i've got a decent amount of stuff but I still don't really get how the structure of insulin helps in its function or why the structure is important?
