Hiya. I’ve recently brought a house and need mortgage life insurance Scottish widows refused me so I need to find a company with a greater understanding of the disease. My levels fluctuate a lot as I’m going through the menopause. TIA

You may need a broker to help you through this. I've had complications (eye surgery) so can never get affordable life cover however as a joint mortgage holder it doesn't seem to have been a problem with C& G or NatWest. I was told that the complication with my eyes put me into a specialised pool for risk but cannot imagine that having a few bad HBA1cs should exclude you.
Hopefully an insurance guru will pop up but you could also try diab UK careline.
