10th September 2016 at 9.30am, there is an interesting conference, speakers Dr David Unwin, Trudi Deakin and Marika Sboros (the woman who did the live tweets from Tim Noakes' trial and publishes Foodmed).

Question is, do I follow my interests and go to hear 3 people that I admire greatly speaking - or do I go to my grand-daughters' joint 4th and 2nd birthday party? Decisions decisions!

No brainer grand kids every time there is no one person, or group of persons more important or dear to ones heart than grand children. :)

Decision made, hubby has spoken! (world's worst granny here!). Love my own tots, but a room full of them, doing 'gymnastics' - oh dear!

Atkins Mo, if you go to the PHCUK thread on here, I uploaded links to presentations by Drs Unwin and Deakin, from the recent PHCUK Conference. Whilst of course, they may be speaking on totally different topics, but looking at the event title, they are likely to be speaking on nuances of the videos uploaded to here.

The PHCUK Conference wasn't diabetes focused, but was all around eating real foot and effectively subscribing to the reduced carbs and decent fats ideas.

p.s. - There's not as important as family. :)

I'm sure that in all probability you will never meet Dr David Unwin, Trudi Deakin and Marika Sboro again and if you do they will not ask you why you did not attend the conference. It will never be forgotten that you did not turn up for the grand children's party and you in all probability will never be allowed to forget it either. Just saying.
