The scurvy thing is SUCH a red herring, and it gets hauled out by anyone who wants to take a pop at carnivory.

Gets a bit tiresome, because it just demonstrates their ignorance. lol.
The moment I see anything talking about carnivory that brings out the ol' Scurvy Chestnut, I know that they are i) misleading people, ii) ignorant of the subject, iii) unwilling to do enough research to actually give out accurate information.

And yes, I view liver as a superb superfood that out performs things like blueberries, acacia, broccoli or spirulina. Nicer tasting too...

The allegation was made that the article was badly researched because it had out of date information. I was just pointing out that at the time the article was written the information was current. (A fact that was easy to miss because the date of the original publication was at the end of the article.)

Even more interesting the article had an advert banner from Farmisons the online butcher... oh the irony!

I never get adverts ever, as I use uBlock Origin which kills every advert out there.

I have been eating meat since it came off ration, some rubbish article will not sway my eating habits.

I like pork chops best.

followed by a nice bit of steak.

So much better than nut cutlets...

I've got a steak like that dry aging at the bottom of my fridge at the moment.. sat nights dinner. Just had slow roast oxtail..
