soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I had read a bit about high HbA1cs in non-diabetics, but now I found the study reference. I haven't read the whole thing, because I don't subscribe to Elsevir, but I have read the abstract.
 
I found this one, which isn't the first one I found, but says about the same
