Hey everyone!

This is my first post here, so go easy on me hehe. I was wondering if there any Type 1 Diabetics doing IF.

I've been doing it for about 3 months now and had great fat loss results from it. But since I know no one doing IF (even people without diabetes) it can get hard sometimes, cause I don't have any support. So hence my question.

A friend of mine has done this on quite a long term basis, she isn't diabetic though. She has had good weight loss... 5 stone (she was large) since she has been doing it.

I'm intermittent fasting at the moment, with a 4 hour window. In the 4 hour window I consume approx 1700kcal.

My blood sugars are excellent...I've definitely lost fat and my energy levels seem to be in tact, to be honest can't fault it.

I much prefer having a nice large feeding window (while attempting to loose weight) rather than multiple small meals which leave me feeling hungry and craving more!

Wow so many replies! Haven't been checking on the topic, which I should have haha! How are things going for T1IF'ers? I'm doing it for over one year now and its going great!
