I am from Lincolnshire, UK (thats on the East coast, half way down England).
Its only me in our partnership.. hubby is fine..I'm so glad to hear that. I'm a Femme partnered to my butch partner 17 years this year. We run a dinner group for BF folks and allies and no one talks openly about their health concerns except for hospital visits/big issues. I have yet to meet another couple who are diabetics. I hope we can resurrect the LGBT community here online. Nice to meet you!
Hi and welcome
If you can encourage your partner to join us we may be able to help her.
There is a FB group, entirely unrelated to this forum, called type 2 diabetes rebels. It advocates low carb eating as an approach to dealing with T2. Maybe it's something she could look at.I'll invite her but she prefers the world of Facebook, FB Messenger and Scrabble chat. Lol. If she is interested I'll show her the app/site...
Welcome @DressyFemme
Your post on the LGBT thread has just drawn my attention to it, so thanks for that!
