Introduce Yourself: Answer Some Personal Questions

I realized your questions didn't ask about hobbies/interests so I thought I'd add more info.

I'm 68 and retired. I'm pretty much a loner. I read a lot, probably 4-5 books a week. My hobbies include crochet, sewing and I work at least a few sudoku (jigsaw) puzzles every day.

I love to cook and am a long time member of the Discuss Cooking forum.

hello from canada..i am roger and im 56 years old and was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 when i was 46..i was quickly told shortly after tht i had type 1 and was born with only one kidney...was on dyalysis for almost 3 years and recieved my transplant after being on the list 11 days...7 years post transplant and im doing ok..i love nature and have been doing photography for almost 30 years now..i am on the metronic veo pump for almost 7 years now

I am Sidie from Sierra Leone, West Africa. I am a Type 2 Diabetics diagnosed in 2010. I am currently on Diaonil but before, I use exercise and diet to control the sugar. My Doctor was infected with Ebola Virus Disease and died in August 2014. Health care workers are afraid to treat people with other diseases so I thought my best place for consultancy on my diabetes status is here on this Forum.
 

@Sidie what can I say? What a dreadful situation to be in. Welcome to the forum and I know you will find it helpful, theres lots of really good information here.
