How do you start an app.

Afternoon ladies & gents, diagnosed with type 2 last week, must admit, came as quite a shock when i went to the doctor for a blood sugar count and got 21,8.

Got a family history, but never thought I'd get it.

Quit smoking last April and started to pile on the weight somewhat, and over the last couple of months started to become more and more thirsty, never put 2 and 2 together.

Hopefully i'd like to share my journey with others on here, and just by browsing through the forum i know i can get some great advise.

Welcome to the forum shelts, its a bit overwhelming , but the folk on here are sooo friendly and helpful,no doubt you have read some of the posts on here, most important thing....ask questions and no matter what you will get the answers.my doc said take these pills lose some weight and steer clear of sugar bye bye.........well as i got worse , i found this forum and through the good advices posted here , i have lost 34 lbs and my blood sugars down from 28 to 5.0 .keep posting and let us know how you are coping
