Worked in oil industry for 35 years until medically retired in 2014 (leg amputation)</p><p>Subjects studied </p><p>4 O levels ( Math, English , Electronics and Biology) ONC in Industrial Measurement & Control </p><p>What do you like about yourself ?</p><p>I treat everybody with the respect they deserve. </p><p>What do you dislike about yourself</p><p>Apart from my teeth ( or lack of) probably my impatience .</p><p></p><p>Hi I'm mark I've been a T 1 diabetic since 1980. Have probably been through most things during the 37 years I have had diabetes. And to be honest nothing shocks me now. I lost my leg below the knee in 2014 . My own fault I knew the rules but didn't play by them . But in recent times have decide to " screw the nut and things are good. I still live life to the full , and nothing gets me down . One thing I will say is there are a lot of opinions about diabetes out there, and it can be a very daunting prospect for those newly diagnosed . However it shouldn't stop you achieving anything you want to. Technology is such these days that almost anything is possible. The only piece of advice I will give is take your blood sugar regularly , it is the only way you can start to control your diabetes ,. Nice to meet you all look forward to some good convos and maybe a good laugh along the way</p></blockquote><p></p>
