Hi I'm Joanna, Jo for short New here & newly diagnosed in the last 2 weeks. My family has T1 & childhood so I should be used to it, but I'm useless. I have ordered a book on diet plan & a recipe book. I have a very healthy diet but no idea about carbs (which I love) My levels were 22.55 but this morning I was 10.2 :-) I think this is good progress. Im feeling loads better, even just in the last couple of days. My Dr here in Bulgaria is brilliant. I am on Metformin twice a day with another tablet I take 30 mins before food. I take a profile tomorrow & see the Dr on Thursday before my trip to UK. I'm hoping to just continue with this. Should I but myself a testing kit? At the moment I have borrowed a friends to take my profile. Hoping to learn loads on this forum
