[QUOTE="ChrisT2, post: 2704543, member: 589190"] Hi, my name is Chris, I am a type 2 of about 20 years now and have now decided after all this time to take my diabetes a bit more seriously and thought maybe joining a forum might help. Hopefully sharing stuff and learning from others may be more successful than just measuring my blood sugar and hanging my head in shame and despair. I didn't realise that there would be an initial interrogation but seeing as other members have also been quizzed I see no reason why I should escape so here goes:- - Include a photo here if you wish to. Not yet. - What is your name? Christopher but Chris will do fine. - How old are you? 66 - Are you male or female? Male - Which country are you from? UK - Which city/area do you live in? East Anglia-Cambridge - Are you religious? Nope - Pick three words to describe your personality. Weird, happy, complicated. - Do you have any pets? Not since childhood - Microsoft or Apple? Microsoft begrudgingly - Which sport(s) (if any) do you like/play? Cycling, walking but not competitively, too embarrassed at coming in last - Do you get angry easily? Not really - Do you have any tattoos or piercings? If so, where? Nope - List your five favourite musicians/bands. Pink Floyd, Genesis, Mike Oldfield, The Who, The Specials. Basically living in the past - What would you say your favourite music genre is? Rock - What is your favourite flag? Union Jack naturally - Ever gone camping? Yep, done it to prove how nice hotels and villas are. have to take the rough to appreciate smooth - Ever been in love? Many times but married the last one, end of my roamings. - Ever used fake tan? No chance, not with sunburn like mine whenever I see the sun - Which countries have you visited? Too many to list - Favourite city? London - List your five favourite TV programmes. Fools and Horses, Little Britain, Come Fly With Me, Fast Show, Phoenix Nights - List your five favourite films. Skyfall, Blues Brothers, Airplane, The Green Mile, A Fistful of Dollars still in the past - Are you wealthy? Nope - Do you work? If so, as what? Recently retired, comms installer - List the subjects you study/have studied. Maths, sciences, engineering, computer architecture and communications. - What do you like most about yourself? Carefree, drift through life with very little worries and easily pleased. - What do you like least about yourself? Getting old, bits falling off and those still attached don't work like they used to.
