Sorry if in wrong spot. When I'm replying on my iPad (new and still having settings disagreements) but it keeps closing the on screen keyboard. It's ok now typing new topic, but replying is frustrating. It seems to only be a problem if I'm holding it. If I put on the table it's better. Has anyone else had this? Doesn't seem to happen anywhere else but I've also haven't been doing too much on it apart from videos. And safari.

iPad keyboard keeps closing

When eyboard appears in the bottom right hand corner is an imitation keyboard with downward pointing arrow touch this and keyboard disappears

Is your OS up to date.? I was having buggy keyboard issues with OS8.1(ish) on FB & messenger..(first gen iPad mini.)
Also. For some reason.? I had the key setting on bold lettering in "accessibility"? Switching that off helped resolve this issue too..

Thanks - yes my iOS is up to date but it's a new iPad. I forgot lol. So yes - some accessibility settings were on that were not on when I did the transfer from my old iPad. I've turned them off (except inverse colours and zoom) and seems to be working a lot better so far. Thanks! I forgot Apple always change your settings when you do updates too. I got this iPad only last week and then work got crazy so I haven't been able to play properly yet. Hopefully this weekend. Thanks again.
