Hey All,
I'm new to this forum and although I have diabetes for 22 years I'm on here for a slightly different reason.
I've recently been on a DAFNE course, one of the many carbohydrate control dose adjustment courses. Like me, I'm sure everyone who's been on a similar course understands the importance of testing and counting carbs correctly. Now as a male, I don't really carry a handbag and hence my book, but I do carry an iPhone. For those who aren't aware there are several blood sugar test logging apps which are available for download on the iphone.
To aid the logging apps I'd like an app which is essentially an electronic version of the carbohydrate book. It would allow the user to search for the foods they're looking to consume and displays the number of carbs. On for this is could be used as a calculator etc.
My questions are, how many diabetics have an iphone? Secondly, would you find an app such as this useful? Finally, what would you expect to pay for it?
