In the past I have had text messages from Dexcom, to advise setting preferences prior to each iPhone software download. This time I didn't receive one. I am not sure what other changes iOS 17.1.1. has made to the phone, but yesterday I missed telephone calls because the ringtone has changed. The Dexcom alarms on my phone are supposed to work even when in 'silent mode' but today there were no alarms during my Tai Chi session, even though readings had dropped to below 4.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi @ElenaP,

I used to use a G6, now using G7, always with iPhones. I don't remember ever getting a message from Dexcom re impact of iOS upgrades, but know with the more major upgrades the tech department, when I've contacted them, sometimes warn to delay before updating while they're testing/updating the Dexcom Apps. Most of the time I don't notice any issue with new iOS - with my G7 App, iOS 17.1.1 hasn't had any impact. Has your G6 settled down? Maybe go through all your alarms & threshold settings, plus switch phone off and restart and see if that helps?

Yes, I'm having the same issue. The reading on my phone also does not show the current level unless I refresh the screen by navigating away to another screen, e.g. going to "calibrate" and then back to the main level/reading display screen.

My phone has had another IOS upgrade and now everything is working as it should.

This issue does not seem to affect the Dexcom G7; I have switched from the G6.
My iPhone 13 has just upgraded to iOS 17.2 and Dexcom G7 working fine, however this is my old phone as my new iPhone 15 just can't load the Dexcom app yet...so will be carrying both phones for a while...
