HI
@The Balladeer and what an interesting question.
It's certainly very affordable compared to some of its competitors so I am sure many people here, particularly those who have to self fund a cgm, would be interested
I am finding mixed reviews from google but think that they have just started a new generation?
This October 2023 review from South Africa looks pretty interesting
By: Kirsten de Klerk, Co-founder SA Diabetes Advocacy Most people living with diabetes in South Africa have heard about Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and how life-changing these devices can be. However, they still come at a great expense and are inaccessible to most people in South Afric

In New Zealand they appear to be selling a new generation version aidex lite, which the manufacturers claim to be accurate....

I'm not sure whether this is the same sensor as in the South African article?
The manufacturer is claiming great accuracy but I am slightly sceptical as previous generations weren't that accurate?
I would probably trial a sensor if I weren't already using the G7, and have just started using an insulin pump so am tied into dexcom for the next 4 years. (The NZ government may not fund cgms, but they do pay for pumps and pump consumables (which seem mind boggling expensive to me).)
I look forward to following this thread. Hopefully someone with experience of the product will post
