Is an HbA1C of 110 not good?

I was told off recently by my practice nurse for an HbA1C -110. When I convert to the old reading it looks like its only 6.1, is that good?

According to two charts I've looked at it converts to 12.2%

If you use the converter tool here http://www.diabetes.co.uk/hba1c-units-converter.html an HbA1c of 110 translates to 12.2%, so that is quite on the high side.

You are using the US BG ( mg/dl) to UK/Europe BG (mmol/l) converter which only works for your current BG as shown by your meter.
