Is an insulin pump worth it?

So, I've always had trouble with keeping my blood sugar maintained, and ik insulin pumps are pretty popular now a days.

So what are the pros and cons of it, if anyone has any, because I know it's different for everyone . I really want to keep my blood sugar stable

I'm on Tandem CIQ and currently fund my own G6 sensors @£159 a month!!!! I have near perfect control and never had this with any other pump - not all pumps are closed loop (connected to a sensor). I was previously on medtronic and libre2. This new one (been on it for 18 months) shuts down when it goes low and increases the dose when i go high.
Its not perfect, but a mile away from poor control on injections.
