Is anyone else having problems with the forum tonight?

Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
It seems incredibly slow to me at the moment.

I don't know if the changes are causing the slow down, or the forum can't cope with snow.

I have a reasonably fast PC, a very fast Internet link, and nothing else seems to be struggling.

Edit: This post still hasn't appeared in New Posts after three or four minutes @Administrator @Giverny
Edit 2: it appeared as one minute old after the first edit. Trouble at t'mill, methinks.
Edit 3: Running Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit and Chrome browser. Virgin Media cable broadband.

Yeah it's jumpy and 'recent posts' has vanished,
Still not used to the upgrade, don't like the letters not changing when you've read all the posts in that thread.
Tried posting before it took three presses to post.
 

Same here. And I can't open PMs.
 
Mine is a little jumpy too and very slow, and I just noticed I've been upgraded again to Senior!!
 
No problems here on a quad core something or other with Linux Mint 17.1 firefox no anti virus software no anti spam anti this that and the other so computer very fast without all that rubbish running in the background.
Updates to the site?
I haven't even noticed!

Oh, suit yourselves.

I think there is something very wrong with whatever indexes the site.
When I originally posted this it took ages to appear in "New Posts".
Each time I post or edit on this thread id disappears from "New Posts" for a few minutes.
Time for a bit of debugging by the technical squad.

No blue line on mine - you are steady green not flashing.

The site is red but that might be in settings that I've never bothered to look at.
I'm used to the red.
 
All threads are now showing as having recent posts even though they don't. Something's obviously not right.
 
I find it annoying when a web site like this is working great but the techno heads in the back ground decide to improoooove it .....

@JACKTHELAD Surely it's all part of the fun that we in the forum should enjoy or even give good advice and help if need be.
The one thing I know is that the tech wizards are trying their utmost just to improve and update all what is necessary in today's crazy fast systems.
No point going backwards or staying stuck when the best way is ahead of you.
