I’m a coffee drinker, have been for many many years. I drink 2-3 standard mugs of black coffee a day, across the morning & early afternoon. This has probably been asked many times on here, but do any of you find that coffee (particularly black) affects your blood sugar levels? Or has a negative impact in any way?

I drink mine with double cream. Don't think I could survive without it.

I’m a coffee fan, I drink it black, with cream or unsweetened coconut milk. None of these affects my blood sugars

I drink black coffee with no sugar or sweeteners in it, it does not effect my bgl.

4-5 large mugs a day with double cream. My meal replacement.
No visible effect on blood sugars but its an easy test to do...?

The issues is how much sugar or sweetener you take with it.

Black coffee can have a negative impact just not in the way you are thinking. Coffee can inhibit your body's ability to absorb magnesium a lack of magnesium is a common factor in Insulin Resistance in type 2 Diabetics.

You can balance this out by eating couple of squares of Dark Chocolate 80% Cocoa , rich in Magnesium and loaded with antioxidants which are good for the heart too.

Coffee is an essential morning nutrient. Test and see what happens.
