Is Contour TS Meter suitable for Type 1 diabetic

Hi,

My Diabetic Nurse has recently given me a new Blood Sugar Meter, a Contour TS.

On some forums I have read that it is not suitable for Type 1 insulin diabetic.

Does anyone else with Type 1 who takes insulin also use this meter?

Looks to be a very basic bg meter so that may be why some don't recommend it, the Contour Next is a far better meter and if you ring Bayer up they'll send you one out for free.
