Hi,
I've always been very slim and now I've got type 2 diabetes i'm worried about becoming too thin
I've read the articles on this website but I cant seem to work out if putting on muscle is possible or not?

Do any of you good people visit the gym regularly? If so what type of things do you eat please to supplement your exercise?
I'm in no way vain or anything like that (way too old - lol) but I would just like to safely bulk up a little bit for my confidence as I've never felt comfortable in my own skin.

Hope you can advise,
Simon

Diabetes is all about glucose - I don't think that you need worry about it interfering with building up muscles.
All the things which go towards the body beautiful, meat and fish for protein, fats for glossy coat - oh hang on - fats for healthy skin and shiny hair, lots of vitamins and minerals from fresh foods, mostly veges, help with controlling glucose, but also tend to provide energy and physical endurance..

I'm walking a lot now and I think I'm building/toning some muscle in my legs - or maybe I'm finding muscles that were previously hidden under the fat..........

Forget about "supplement your exercise" this concept is just an invalid method for getting you to buy high sugar drinks! All you need is enough protein, so base your meals on eggs and meat with lots of green veg.
