This is so sad that so many of us had tests that showed non normal results for years and years before diagnosis and were never told about it. It’s pretty much negligence

For sure I’m educating my teenagers to always get full written results of any tests - with numbers - and to understand them and keep asking or reading til they do.

2008 blood test had me Type 2.

I never inquired thinking “if something is wrong, they’ll let me know.

In 2018, I looked up my own blood test results as the office now had a new system.

10 years w type 2 and no diagnosis or a warning.
