Is it still ok to drive

Hi all,
A couple of weeks ago my Lantus was changed to Tresiba which didn't go well and I ended up having a low a couple of days ago while around the shops. I was aware of the low and I treated the low but there were a couple of minutes where I had to sit down to get my bearings and I wasn't really with it. The shop called an ambulance as they were concerned but by the time they got there I was fine again.

I think from what I have read I am still good to drive as I was aware of the low and treated the low myself. Also the Tresiba is being changed back to Lantus as I was having a reaction to that. I just wanted to check though that I am understanding the rules and that I am ok to drive still.

Welcome to the forums @markb55

As per the DVLA guide depending whether you drive Group 1 or Group 2 vehicles as long as you don’t require assistance during a hypo episode you’re still okay to drive (Page 4 - https://assets.publishing.service.g...e-to-insulin-treated-diabetes-and-driving.pdf)
