Anonymous Question Is my flatulence to do with diabetes?


It's when my dog farts, the look of wonderment on his face, he's fast asleep - drops a wedge - he jumps up and sniffs the air as if to say the famous words once uttered by the mayor of Hiroshima = " What the f*** was that"? (sorry bad taste where the Hiroshima bit). These post as so funny, laugh - I nearly bought a round..
 
its so true, i was listening to the radio this morning in the car and it played "The Way We Were" by Barbara Strysland well the old tears started , I felt like my heart would break, then I remembered this post and started laughing. talk about up in the air one minuet and down in the trumps the next.

This thread is hysterical but only because we are a bunch of kids really. Diabetes is such a rotten depressing thing to deal with sometimes that it's good to let off steam...ummm, could have put that better, try again...It's good to blow off ? No, that doesn't quite work either does it? It's good to release..no..let go..umm, oh blast it, hah not that either but oh blast it, I apologize for me at least and please believe that we do empathize with you in your trouble and rest assured it's a trouble the majority of us participate in on a daily basis.
 

I'm very sure that if the OP is offended in anyway it'll blow over..

Whaaaaahhh this is so funny, please keep this post going for ever. I've been preparing for a meeting, saw this post and it broke up the 7 hours I've spent writing my presentation. I've had to get someone to proof read the finished article in case the word Fart was put in as it was on my mind as I toggled back and forth to this link. I really do need to get out more. I'm so glad I wasn't on the train today I've been bucked over laughing, really worried about the person who started this all off. Ah well, we all make mistakes (as the Dalek said climbing off the dustbin)
 
Hi to the poster of the original question

I'd suggest getting yourself checked out at the doctor cos, with me, what you describe happens when I've a really BAD tummy bug! If you've had diarrhoea for months you could end up badly dehydrated and losing a lot of weight as you won't be getting the nutrition from your food. As another person said you don't say if you are a diagnosed diabetic or just asking the question. There's good info on here giving diabetes symptoms. I'm "only" pre-diabetic so don't take any of the meds mentioned.

And Hi to the rest of you - been laughing my head off all the way through this post, . I gotta admit its far better out than in!!
The dogs make me laugh too especially when they are sitting on the lamintae floor and let one go - the noise usually makes them jump up, spin around and look at their bum as if to say :***: was that........
 
im a little shy so ill ask the question anon, OMG these people are crazy gasbags

lol, you collect 500 people together that take metformin, then add into the mix the diabetes induced sick sense of humour, and there can only be one outcome,...... a smelly one

I have never heard of this bloke at all, OMG what a peculiar way to make a living! The only Le Petomane I knew was William J Le Petomane in Blazing Saddles, the Mel Brooks classic

From Wiki:

This must be my 'One Thing A Day To Learn' and a damned fine thing too!
 
I've started using the stair case at work rather than using the lifts. 7 story building and I work on the 6th. On one of my climbs today I started on the ground floor with a real need to fart. I figured I'd better climb the 6 stories and exert a bit more energy and carry my fart up the stairs with me as the stair well is one big amplifying echo chamber and occasionally someone else uses it. By the time I got to the 5th floor.........................
 
On another occasion when I was living in NewZealand, a colleague and I were delivering a computer to a client in an office building. We took the lift up to the floor we needed to get to and my colleague let one off as soon as the doors closed. It was evil. I immediately came down with turrets. I stood right up to the doors with my nose where the sliding doors met and held my breath until the doors opened. Coincidently, another colleague was waiting for the lift on the other side of the doors on the floor that we were getting off. He must have thought it strange to see me fall out of the lift as soon as the doors opened. The farter rolled the computer out of the lift and we were both splitting our sides but trying not to show it. A quick "high there" to the guy that got into the lift, the door closed behind him and we could hear the doppler sound effect coming out of the lift shaft...."Y o u @*%k*%g B @ s t @ r d s"
