Is my HbA1c too low?

When diagnosed last June with 61 the nurse practitioner said he'd like around 50 ideally, when I commented why not just "get it lower" he looked at me like I was stupid! My dn is thrilled at my change and when I was edgy about possible raised hba1c non-meds she seemed to think a slight rise was fine- but I didn't, if my next is more than 39 I will requesting meds again as I DO NOT want diabetic levels, even controlled ones! Wish they could see that point!
I so agree with u its like they read off a script ....sometimes I think its cos they don't want us (patients ) to have that control ourselves ..once you are labelled u are labelled but then that could just be me and my anti control/ authority "thing" lol ;)

Thanks Mike i am worried that im not eating enough, hence the dizziness. So far I have done no excerise due to RA but i am starting RA resistance training next week and dont want to end up falling over
Low blood sugar makes me dizzy
