hi all, my niece is 3 this coming August and since my daughter has been diagnosed with T1 we are becoming more aware that she is showing symptoms of it too, she can be quite moody, but not weepy like Mia constantly was, she eats and eats anything she can lay her little hands on, and as for drinking, i've never known a child to drink as much as she does, however, unlike Mia who just seemed to start drinking more overnight, my niece has always drunk alot, she also seems to have a constant cold or cough.
i have tested her twice and it has come back normal, my sister took her to the doctors and he wasnt too worried about it but she's taking her again because there is something not right, her health visitor said that even though i tested her, that didnt mean anything and she would have to have a blood test to either confirm or rule out diabetes, does that sound right, even though her readings were 4.7 and 5.9?
