Is Pepto safe?

I had a bad stomach ache last night. I know Tums are full of sugar and I couldn't find my sugar free rennie tabs, but I had some pepto tablets in the bathroom (not in a box). I didn't take them and just stuck it out until the stomach ache went away....does anyone have a box of Pepto they can check for me?
