Is there any point in bulking for muscle mass and fat with diabetes type 1? (body building)

Hi I have diabetes type 1 and is currently 20 years old. I have gotten quite far into "normal bodybuilding dieting" but for some reason I seemed to build way more muscle when cutting compared to when I bulked . Is there any scientific "diabetical" reason for this? and also please drop some dieting tips if you know what diet is most optimal for muscle growth with diabetes.
 
"Main gaining" is doing the rounds at the moment, as it ultimately gets almost the same muscle gains as the traditional bulk, cut without the swings in body fat, back and forth. This assumes you are not trying to be a mass monster, and not doing PEDs.

You possibly get better body composition on a cut, due to being in a deficit, which may make your keytone levels and higher (nowhere near dangerous levels), ketones are muscle sparing.

My bias is ketogenic building as the results are "real". By real I mean you are not pumped up. I have noticed that many of the old time body builders ultimately lose the inflated mass. I think it is healthier to build to a natural genetic limit. Keto Savage is a great exponent of the art of natural ketogenic body building.
 
Insulin is considered doping. It accelerates the recovery of the body after training, helps to accumulate glycogen in the muscles, with hypoglycemia, somatotropin is released, insulin also helps to transport amino acids necessary for muscle growth and prevents muscle catabolism, so there can be a lot of "diabetical" reasons, because the amount of insulin in your body depends only on how much you inject it.
 
My bloodsugars were quite low but mostly in the “preferable” zone, now when I bulk my bloodsugars have been high close to 50% of the time I’m not in the zone
When your blood glucose is high your body cannot use the nutrients in your food. Before insulin, T1's wasted away until they died, no matter what they ate.
