The advice as I recall was to have low GI carbs as the core of the diet but I never took that to mean that I should eat them by the ton - that would only make me fat!.
Just thought id say I too enjoy my carbs and feel there is no need at all to cut them out....My control is good, if I don't have carbs my blood goes super low, so for me its all about having a balance...
I am also on weight watchers and have lost almost 2 stone since 9th Feb this year, I have continued to eat bread, potatoes etc throughout and have found it has made no difference to my weight loss...
