Does anyone know if there are any less calories if you just eat the things out of a soup but not drink the juice?
Sometimes I just can't drink all that salty juice. And I don't have t h e option of making it homemade .

To be honest, it would really depend what was in the broth - I'm thinking thickeners, or coconut milk, just as examples. If the "salty juice" as you describe it is just that, there is likely not to be much gained either way.

How would I dose for this? I hate guessing.
Why don't you put all the ingredients in to Cronometer in advance. That would tell you how many carbs in each portion.?
