Hi had a pataks phall curry for my dinner around 16 carbs in also with 3 poppadoms 10 carbs with beef king prawns and chicken and no rice tested blood sugar around 2 and a half hours later it was 6 bang on is this good bad normal?? Thanks in advance
Your profile says you are prediabetic so yeah, this is probably about normal for you. Keep off the carbs and you may well be able to keep enjoying the curries and avoid diabetes for the rest of your life.
If your ambitious there are recipes for home made curries on the forum, which you can freeze and eat whenever you want. I do have Pataks with chicken breast cubed and with salad about 12gsm carb total.
