I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posts on the forums. It has been a massive help to me.
I was diagnosed type 2 earlier this year and basically left to get on with it.
Due to the help and advice on the forums I've been able to manage and feel supported, even when the doctors and nurse have been less than useless!! Buying a meter and testing has been great.
I'm now swimming during the week and playing badminton at weekend. The exercise, weight loss and testing has meant that I feel much more in control.... And healthier!
Without these forums I feel that I would have 'floated about' in a daze (which I did for a while!)
I still have good and bad days but it does get better!
