Too many to list.
Started off six months ago with a HbA1c of 76, gradually reduced & today saw the DN, result now HbA1c of 40.
Cholesterol now perfect score she tells me, (thats without taking my Statin) SHHHH !

So all good & even more determined to get below a score of 38 next time !

Started off with 100mg Sitagliptin & 2G Metformin now only on 500mg Metformin !

God is good !

Excellent news!

So how did you do it? :D
Listening to you guys ! Cutting Carbs wherever I can but NOT getting paranoid about Carbs. Cutting out the junk, i.e. Crisps, Bread, most Potatoes, Chocolate, Cakes, JUNK !

Another bonus is that I have lost 20lbs in weight !

Being prescribed plenty of test strips & given a meter by my DN.

I just get the repeated "you shouldn't be testing" BS, so have to buy my own.
If the doctor doesn't care about my health then it's (almost) entirely up to me.

Brilliant result though. Congratulations are well deserved. I'm down to 41, which I couldn't have achieved with a meter. This is the insane world of NHS diabetes 'care'.

1. Eat what makes you ill
2. Don't bother testing to make sure you can't know how what you eat affects you.
3. Don't expect the best drugs, just the cheapest.
4. Don't expect the NHS to stop you getting worse. We only ever adjust treatment AFTER you HAVE got worse.

Etc...
