Itching at the lower part of body

My HbA1c is 7.2%(sept 2014) , daily readings vary from 7-8 . From past few days, I have noticed frequest itching at the lower pat (belly, feet, in between toes) . Can anybody advise is this due to T2 ? I am on medication .

I have had similar symptoms when running blood sugars in excess of 18 mmol............so I would say its possible.........

I doubt your levels were that high on this occasion, but any blood sugar level that is significantly different form what your body is used to can have varying symptoms, which will subside of course.....

I am a type 1 and so some experiences from a fellow type 2 would be good........

Thanks a lot Novorapid. I never had so high levels ,but usually i experience a bit higher numbers than now . May be you are right , my body is used to higher numbers.

i was suggesting that your may have been experiencing a higher number than you normally have and so your body would be used to a lower leve, but it works both ways I suppose....
