Itchy Skin

Hi --I am a 35 year old male who has had type 1 for 17 years - Recently i have got really itchy skin (worst when im hot) and on my head (not nits!!!!) My blood levels = 8.1 on my last visit to doctors. Any clues of magic creams to help ? I did change my base insulin around 8 months ago could it be this ?

Hi Gary.

I had this when my son was diagnosed constant itchy skin and head.I had to explain to the school it wasn't nits, does seem to come and go i found using johnsons baby shampoo as it's mild and aveeno daily moisturing lotion works great. Sold in boots or big supermarkets.
