So I've been having problems with the sure-ts coming off for a while and am never completely confident that they will stay in. The pump rep suggested using an iv300 to cover the site before inserting the sure-t. I had tried it with the silhouette and it had worked well. It felt very comfy and more secure but my levels over the last few days have been much worse than they have recently. I'm not sure if my needs have suddenly changed dramatically (I'm 22/23 weeks pregnant and haven't had to adjust basal for about 4 weeks), if there is an issue with the insulin or if there is an issue with the sets put in this way. I've put in a silhouette this morning (I changed the sure-t twice) and am planning on basal testing through the night
.
Has anyone else had an experience where the sure-t efficiency is reduced by putting something in between?
