Hi parselmouth.
Hanadr and a lot more of us look on anything above 6 as high. That's because we want tight control of our Bg levls to avoid or delay any of that long list of complications a Diabetic can get if those levels are uncontrolled. You should try it ?

The point is, just because they're not happy with a BG of 12 doesn't mean you shouldn't be. Set your own goals and don't be worried if your vision of what's alright and what isn't doesn't match some one elses. We all know the risks involved with high BGs and we all know the sacrifices that need to be made with a strict diet regime. Walk the middle line, that's what I do.
