I've GOT SOME STRIPS!!!!!!!

soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I was diagnosed with a UTI. This is a story of it's own, involving half my phone bill in getting my Urine test results and then tracking down the prescription for antibiotics, which the doctor thinks I need. It's now 10 days since I saw him and I've just picked up the Amoxycillin. I don't know what the office staff at the health cenre are playing at, but I eventually found the one who sorted everything out and "twisted his arm over the strips".
Actually, my BGs haven't been much higher than usual. In the 5s when I prefer the 4s. I suspect the infection is following on the bout of cystitis I had a while back, which I thought had gone.
I haven't had Bgs above 6, so why I got this infection, I don't know.
Still I have got the precious pack of strips.

Sorry to hear about the infection, I hope you feel better soon. However it's great news that you've managed to get some strips finally. All you need now is to turn that prescription into a repeat!!
 
No chance of a repeat :( It was through the good effort of one of the receptionist, who always sorts things for me, that I got these whilst on the antibiotics.
I feel perfectly normal, but tired from getting up 4 times a night. No pain.
My Sports threrapy group is getting together on a weight loss programme, so I'm being extra good on that. It's what has stopped my BG from going up. Still I have had a 7 :( !! in the last couple of weeks. Now I know what was causing it
