IVF & Type 1 Diabetes

Welcome to the forum
Sadly I have no direct knowledge of IVF and diabetes...
It goes that with out saying, that with every pregnancy of T1 that mum tobe shoudl have good stable control before and durning pregnacy..
If fertility drugs are being used, there might be a properbility that these could have a effect on her blood glucose control, so would discuss this with the consultants, if possible see if the IVF and diabetic consultant meet both of you at the same time to discuss issues and concerns...
I ponder perhaps it might be a idea if your wife might request a insulin pump, which would enable her to react quicker and more effectivally to changes in her control, then she might have with injections..
I hope some one might be able to enlighten you than I can
