Makes a nice change to have the carbs per dish already worked out :)

Going to try something from it at the weekend

Oooh, excellent! :D
Are the recipes good? Any time I've bought books of his in the past there's lots of fish dishes, which I'm not keen on. I only watched this series once and he was cooking..... yes, fish.

I think so. My only criticism is that there may be too many rice/pasta/noodle maybe as I find it difficult to control blood sugars when I eat these. But I can always substitute or leave that bit out for me.
Making sizzling lamb koftas tonight with a red cabbage side, iceberg and a dollop of minty yoghurt. Bought some wholemeal pittas to go with it.

You have me convinced, The rest of the family love rice/pasta/noodles and I'm happy to replace with cauliflower rice or something else for me. :D

You could give the Blue Dragon wholewheat noodles a try, see if they suit you.

Another one to try is Morrisons parboiled brown rice. It's not the same as their organic brown rice or other brands. It's parboiled and about 1/3rd the calories of normal rice. Plus, it's brown rice, so much slower release. The combination of the two works well, for me at least. Try half portions to start with and see how you get on.

Thanks for those tips. Oh yes - the gorgeous cauli rice
